This 17 in. strand contains about 45 Andean angelite stone beads. The beads were hand-cut in a round shape and drilled by Peruvian crafts people. They are coated with a clear finish to protect the stone and bring out its luster.
Because they are hand-cut, there are variations in the sizes of the beads and the sizes and positions of the holes. They are roughly spherical, about 9 mm in diameter, with three 4 mm rondelles on each end. The holes are small, about 1 mm in diameter.
