This 16 in. strand contains 37 Andean soapstone round beads. Because they are hand-cut, there are variations in the sizes of the beads and the sizes and positions of the holes. The beads are roughly spherical, 11-12 mm in diameter. The holes are small, 1 mm or less. The beads are coated with a clear finish to protect the stone and bring out its luster.
