This 10 gram lot contains about 200 natural Amazonian bamboo beads from Peru, hand-cut by Peruvian crafts people. The ends are lighly burned, producing a nice contrast with the light brown wood. Because they are fashioned from segments of bamboo stalks, there are variations in the lengths and diameters of the beads. They are mostly 11-12 mm long and about 4 mm in diameter. The holes are not drilled but rather natural to the bamboo, and if closed can be opened easily by driving wire through them.
