Native Americans throughout the Amazon basin have long used the seeds and nuts of a variety of trees and plants make necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry. This once-ounce lot includes about 60 Peruvian acacia seeds hand-drilled for beading. The seeds are rectangular, 17-20 mm long and about 2 x 2 mm thick. Those of this lot have a single hole drilled at one end, making them ideal for use as pendants.
