This 18 in. strand includes about 50 pale pink Andean mangano calcite beads, hand-carved in a rondelle shape by Peruvian crafts people. The stones are coated with a clear lacquer..

Because they are hand-carved, there are variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes and positions of the holes. They are about 11 mm in diameter and 9 mm thick. The holes are small, about .5 mm in diameter.
