These two circular snap-lock clasps were hand-cast in Peru from 950 sterling silver, the Peruvian standard. The clasps operate by lifting a hinged bar which snaps closed over a ball on the tops of the rings. The rings have outer diameters of 12 mm. They have two moveable figure-eight loops on the sides, the lower of which have diameters of about 2 mm.

These clasps are sold with the bars tightly closed and may require some adjustment with pliers to make them operational.
