These two snap-lock crimping clasps were hand-cast in Peru from 950 sterling silver, the Peruvian standard. They operate by lifting a hinged bar which snaps closed over a ball. Two loops with 3-mm diameter crimp tubes are attached to the bottoms. They measure about 9 x 4 x 12 mm, including the crimps. The bottom is stamped "950."

This clasp is sold with the bar tightly closed and may require some adjustment with pliers to make it operational.
