These 20 ceramic beads were handmade by expert Peruvian crafts people. The triangular drum shape is unusual for Peruvian ceramic beads, as is the solid color. The clay was shaped and fired, painted solid wine red and glazed, then fired a second time for a true ceramic hardness.

Because they are handmade, there are slight variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes positions of the holes. They are about 6 mm tall and 5 mm on a side, with 2 mm holes.
