20 Hand-Painted 12 mm PERUVIAN CERAMIC ROUND BEADS, B58B

These 20 ceramic beads were hand-made and hand-painted by expert Peruvian crafts people. The design is a traditional Andean motif. It wraps around the beads so they appear different from different angles. They were hand-painted not with artificial dyes but with mineral-based pigments. The clay was fired, painted and glazed, and fired a second time for a true ceramic hardness.
Because they are handmade, there are slight variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes and positions of the holes. All are a little flattened, about 12 mm in diameter and 10 mm tall. The holes are about 3 mm in diameter. They run vertically through the beads.
