This 16 in. strand includes about 100 Peruvian gray-blue angelite (anhydrite) stone beads hand-cut in a rondelle shape, drilled, and polished by Peruvian crafts people. They are coated with a clear varnish to protect them and enhance their luster.

The colors are the natural colors of the stone and vary from one to the next. Some stones have some natural browning. Because they are hand-carved, there are variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes and positions of the holes. They are roughly 8 mm in diameter and 3-4 mm thick, with 1 mm center-drilled holes. The strand is ready for restringing, with three smaller rondelles on either end.
