These two high-quality gemstone buttons were hand-carved from Andean chrysocolla (gem selica) by Peruvian crafts people. The stone was hand-polished smooth. The finish is natural and uncoated.

The buttons are about 20 mm (13/16 in.) in diameter and 3-4 mm (1/8 in.) thick with holes about 1.5 mm across. Because they are hand-cut from natural stone, there are slight variations in the sizes of the buttons and in the sizes and positions of the holes, as well as in the color of the stone. So far as possible, buttons will be matched for size and color.
