These 20 ceramic barrel beads were handmade and hand-painted by expert Peruvian crafts people. The beads were shaped and fired, painted and glazed, and fired a second time for a true ceramic hardness.
The main colors are cobalt blue, lime green, brick red, and black. The paints are mineral-derived pigments, not artificial dyes. The pattern is a pre-Columbian artistic motif.
Since they are handmade, there are slight variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes and positions of the holes. They are about 13 mm tall and 10 mm through the middle, with 3 mm holes.
