These 20 ceramic beads were hand-made and hand-painted by expert Peruvian crafts people. The beads were shaped and fired, painted and glazed, then fired a second time, for a true ceramic hardness. The painting is done with mineral-based pigments, not artificial dyes.

Because they are handmade, there are slight variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes and positions of the holes. They are round, but flattened, about 6 mm in diameter and 4 mm tall, with 2 mm holes.
