20 Peruvian 17 mm CERAMIC CLAY MARBLED TUBE BEADS, J45

These 20 high-quality ceramic beads were hand-made and hand-painted by expert Peruvian crafts people. The clay was shaped and fired, painted and glazed, then fired a second time for a true ceramic hardness. The beads were painted with special mineral-based pigments, not artificial dyes. The painters describe themselves as artists, and with justification. The marbled design is a play of blues and pinks, suggesting winter. Because they are handmade, there are slight variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes and positions of the holes. These tube beads are about 17 mm tall and 7 mm in diameter, with 3 mm holes.
