10 Peruvian 16 mm CERAMIC CLAY SKULL BEADS White H

These ten ceramic skull beads were hand-made and hand-painted by expert Peruvian crafts people. The clay was shaped and fired, painted and glazed, then fired again for a true ceramic hardness. The eye sockets are hollowed out and they, the nostrils and teeth are painted black, stark against the white skulls.
Because they are hand-made, there are slight variations in the sizes of the beads, the sizes and positions of the holes, and the decoration. They are about 16 mm tall, 13 mm across the front, 15 mm front to back. The holes are about 2 mm in diameter. They run horizontally through the skulls.
