20 Peru 14 mm CERAMIC CLAY DISK BEADS Red Sun, G38

These 20 ceramic disk beads were handmade by expert Peruvian crafts people. The clay was shaped and fired, hand-printed from a hand-painted flower design using the serigraphic silkscreen method, glazed and fired a second time for a true ceramic hardness. Both sides are printed the same. They depict a red sun wearing sunglasses.
Because they are handmade, there are slight variations in the sizes of the beads. They are about 14 mm in diameter and 7 mm thick, with 3 mm holes. The holes run horizontally in relation to the design.
