These 20 ceramic beads were handmade and hand-painted by expert Peruvian crafts people. They depict a blue moon eclipsing an orange sun. The clay was fired, painted and glazed, and fired a second time for a true ceramic hardness. The paints are mineral-based pigments, not artificial dyes.
Because they are handmade, there are slight variations in the sizes of the beads. They are about 17 mm tall and 7 mm in diameter, with 3 mm holes.
