This strand includes about 220 heishi beads, hand-cut from conch shell and dyed a sea green. The ends are equipped with screw-type findings so that it may be worn as a necklace, but since fishing line was used for stringing, we are selling it for beads rather than as jewelry.

Because they are handcut, the beads vary in size. In general they are 6 mm in diameter with widths 4-6 mm. The holes are small, about 1 mm across.
