This 16 in. strand includes abot 60 gray-blue Peruvian angelite (anhydrite) stone beads hand-cut in a rondelle shape, drilled, and polished by Peruvian crafts people. Because they are hand-carved, there are variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes and positions of the holes. They are about 11-12 mm in diameter and about 4-5 mm thick, with 2 mm holes.

The colors are the natural colors of the stone and vary from one to the next. Some have some natural browning and streaking. The beads are coated with a clear lacquer to smooth and protect them and bring out their luster but are untreated and otherwise unaltered.
