Handcut Peruvian 06 mm ANGELITE STONE RONDELLE BEADS, 16"

This 16 in. strand includes about 150 Peruvian gray-blue angelite (anhydrite) stone beads hand-cut in a rondelle shape, drilled, and polished by Peruvian crafts people. Because they are hand-carved, there are variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes and positions of the holes. They are about 6 mm in diameter and 3-4 mm thick, with 1 mm holes.
The colors are the natural colors of the stone and vary from one to the next. Some have some natural browning. They are coated with a clear lacquer that helps to smooth and protect them and enhances their luster, but are untreated and otherwise unaltered.
