This 16 in. strand includes 77 Andean aragonite beads, hand-carved in rondelle shapes by Peruvian crafts people. Because they are hand-cut, there are variations in their sizes and in the sizes and positions of the holes. The beads are about 8 mm in diameter and 4-6 mm thick, with 1 mm holes.

The colors are the natural colors of the stone and vary from one to the next. The beads are coated with a clear lacquer to help smooth and protect them but are untreated and otherwise unaltered.
