This 17 in. strand includes 24 pale pink Andean mangano calcite beads, hand-carved in a teardrop shape and polished to an amazing smoothness by Peruvian crafts people. Because they are hand-carved, there are variations in the sizes of the beads and in the sizes and positions of the holes. The bead sizes vary from 15 x 12 mm to 18 x 12 mm. The holes are about 1 mm in diameter.

The colors are the natural colors of the stone and vary from one to the next. The stones are coated with a clear lacquer to help smooth and protect them but are untreated and otherwise unaltered.
