This 17 in. strand includes 125 Andean black onyx rondelle beads, hand-cut, hand-drilled and polished by Peruvian crafts people.

Because they are hand-cut, there are variations in the sizes of the beads, and the sizes and positions of the holes. They are in graduated sizes, 7-9 mm in diameter and 2-4 mm thick. The holes are small, 1 mm or less.

The colors are the natural colors of the stone and vary from one to the next. Some have pyrite inclusions, a feature common in Peruvian black onyx.
