This 16 in. strand includes 16 Andean serpentine stone beads. The beads were hand-cut in a rounded barrel shape and drilled by Peruvian crafts people. The beads are coated with a clear solution that helps to smooth and protect them and enhances their luster.

Because they are handcut, there are variations in the sizes of the beads and the sizes and positions of the holes. Most are about 22 mm long and 10-11 mm in diameter, with 1 mm holes.
