There are about 200 chunks of green Andean serpentine on this temporary string. The colors vary with the natural colors of the stone. All are handcut, hand-drilled, and tumbled smooth, ready for restringing.

The strand is 31 in. long. The stones vary in size, from about 3 x 6 x 2 mm to about 6 x 8 x 4 mm. The holes are about 1 mm in diameter.
