This 16 in. strand includes about 30 Andean serpentine stone beads. The beads were hand-cut in a tube or cylinder shape and drilled by Peruvian crafts people. The beads are coated with a clear solution that helps to smooth and protect them and enhances their luster.

Because they are hand-cut, there are variations in the sizes of the beads and the sizes and positions of the holes. They are 13-15 mm long and 6 mm in diameter, with 1 mm holes.
