This strand contains 78 Andean aragonite beads, hand-carved in a rondelle shape by Peruvian crafts people. Because they are hand-cut, there are variations in their sizes and in the sizes and positions of the holes. The beads are about 9 mm in diameter and 3-5 mm thick, with 1.5 mm holes.

The colors are the natural colors of the stone and vary from one to the next. The beads are coated with a clear lacquer to help smooth and protect them but they are not treated or otherwise altered.
